1. Who we are
vildkêp ("we", "us", "our") is an iOS and Android app and website published by Niels Ltd, Wendover, UK. By downloading, installing, or using the app or this website ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Questions? 2. Using the Service
You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial family use. You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
- upload or store content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
- resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
3. Your content
Your photos, notes, stories, and memories are yours. By default vildkêp keeps them on your own device — see our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled. You are responsible for the content you create and store, and for keeping your own backups. If you choose optional features such as photo book ordering or any cloud sync, the relevant handling is explained at the point you enable it.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
Some features require a paid subscription or one-off purchase, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
5. Photo book orders
If you order a printed photo book, that order is fulfilled by our print partner. Orders are subject to the price, delivery, and returns information shown at checkout. Once printing has begun an order may not be cancellable.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the vildkêp name and logo, is owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for any loss of data — please keep your own backups. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
